Reviews

Q1: What are the dimensions and weight capacity of the NomadNest 11ft Hammock?
A: The NomadNest hammock measures a generous 11 x 4.5 feet (approx. 335 x 137 cm), providing ample space for a comfortable, flat diagonal lay. Despite weighing only about 2.5 lbs (1.13 kg), its robust construction supports a maximum weight capacity of up to 440 lbs (200 kg).

Q2: How does the detachable full-open mesh work?
A: The hammock features an integrated, full-length zipper system that allows you to completely attach or detach the breathable mesh enclosure. You can zip it up for 360-degree protection against outdoor elements during warm nights, or fully detach and store it away for an open-air lounging experience.

Q3: What is the purpose of the included ridge rope?
A: The sturdy structural ridge rope helps maintain the ideal sag and structural shape of the hammock every time you set it up, ensuring consistent comfort regardless of tree spacing. It also serves as a convenient overhead hang line for lightweight essentials like camping lanterns, water bottles, or small pouches.

Q4: How easy is it to set up and adjust the suspension?
A: Setup is quick and beginner-friendly. The kit includes two 9.8ft high-tenacity tree straps and infinitely adjustable snap hooks. You can effortlessly secure the straps around suitable anchor points and adjust the hanging tension without tying complicated knots.

Q5: Is the fabric durable and breathable for long outdoor trips?
A: Yes. Crafted from high-density, tear-resistant ripstop fabric, the NomadNest hammock balances durability with high air permeability. The fabric feels soft against the skin, prevents moisture buildup, and packs down compactly into the included stuff sack (approx. 15 x 7.8 inches).

Q6: How should I clean and care for my NomadNest hammock?
A: To maintain fabric strength, hand wash the hammock with mild soap and lukewarm water. Do not use bleach, harsh chemicals, or machine washing/tumble drying. Ensure the fabric and mesh are completely air-dried before packing them into the storage bag, and store in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight.
