ZeroG: Modular Ultrallight Hammock System(198g)，Relex Easily

As nature lovers and hikers, we have been constantly seeking solutions to replace our heavy equipment. In the previous two crowdfunding campaigns, we created the ultra-lightweight Flexifold table (550g/1.2lb) and the 4-in-1 SkyNest hammock tent. Many users think that a 1.5kg(3.3lb) hammock tent is still too heavy. They wanted a lighter hammock that could be carried around and used anytime and anywhere, and thus our ZeroG was born! It is ultra-light, easy set up, modularly expandable.

The Total weight of ZeroG hammock is just 305g/0.67lb. We cut all the redundancy, just to let you go further！

Fabric Technology

The main weight of a hammock lies in the fabric. The gram weight of the fabric determines the weight. The fibers and structure of the fabric determine its strength and functionality. We compared over a hundred kinds of fabrics, and finally one that is light, strong and breathable stood out. It's 1.0 oz MONOLITE Ripstop Nylon Mesh. Light but strong Used as a woven fabric, it's strong plus much more resistant to snagging and abrasion than fabrics of similar weight (e.g. 1.1 oz Ripstop Nylon). It is both light and durable. Ordinary lightweight hammocks are prone to tearing when encountering sharp objects, but the performance of Monolite fabric is as follows:

The Patented Horn Adjustment Buckle

We think that the hammock buckles and tree straps that are popular now are still too heavy, because the multi-loop straps bring a lot of weight.We want to replace this heavy suspension system with stepless adjustment. At the beginning, the lightweight fastener we chose was a pure adjustable fastener. When camping in a hammock, if a hammock under quilt or a small hammock with miscellaneous items is needed, the installation is very troublesome and auxiliary equipment is required. So we added horn-shaped hooks on both sides of this adjusting buckle. The problem was perfectly solved without adding too much weight. The integrated design also eliminates the trouble of looking for accessories everywhere.

This adjusting buckle is made of aviation aluminum alloy, which is light yet strong. A set of buckles weighs only 9.3grams. However, the breaking force reaches over 300 kilograms. This is the best choice for lightweighting.

Super-dense safety tree straps

The strap must be a ribbon of a certain width so that when it is wrapped around the trunk it does not damage the bark.

We tested various different webbing for this purpose. Ultimately, we chose this very strong and easy-to-adjust high-density webbing. Its composition and manufacturing process are similar to those of seat belts in cars.

High-Load-Bearing Safety Hammock

Although the ZreoG hammock is very light, its load-bearing capacity also meets the standards. ZeroG hammock has passed the strict 200kgs load-bearing test by SGS. However, for safety reasons, we still remind users the hammock not to load more than 150 kgs.

The outstanding contributor to modularization is the design of the horn buckle. The design of two horns can not only hang the bottom quilt but also fix the ridge rope. This horn buckle has made a significant contribution to expanding the functions of ZreoG! This enables this small hammock to be matched with various different usage scenarios. Hang The Hammock Under Quilt

Fixed Ridge Rope For Hammock

Some hammock camping enthusiasts like to add a ridge rope to their hammocks. It is convenient for hanging and placing items, and It also keeps the hammock at a certain angle to help you sleep more comfortably. The horn buckle is very friendly to ridge ropes. It is very convenient to install and adjust.

We have adjustable ridge ropes made of Dyneema (UHMWPE material) for your selection. We recommend using ridge ropes for longer ZeroG-L and XL. A multi-functional Monolite fabric accessory bag will be along with the Ridge Rope.

Fix An Air Mat On The Hammock

Side sleepers like to add air pads to their hammocks. We added fasteners on both sides of the ZeroG hammock. Combined with our specially designed air mat for hammocks, fix the air mat diagonally.The air mat in the hammock will be difficult to move. Make your sleep more comfortable.

The hooks attached to the side of the hammock, when tied with elastic ropes and pegs, can stably expand the width of the hammock, making it more convenient to use.
